Our Retreats at
the Silk Farm
The Silk Farm was created as a place to host retreats of various kinds, with yoga being at it’s core.
Robbie Vann-Adibé is a veteran practitioner of the Iyengar Yoga Method, having been practicing and studying for over 45 years from London to New York to San Francisco with time spent in Pune, India.
Robbie’s retreats are focused on helping groups of yoga practitioners begin, evolve, or deepen their practice.
The schedule we have found to work particularly well for visitors is one which blends deep yoga practice with other elements of activity.
Usually spanning 3 or 4 days of practice, a typical day looks as follows:
Practice/Class from 8.00 - 10.00hrs
Breakfast 10.15 - 11.15hrs
Aerobic Activity from 12.00 - 14.00hrs - walking, running, swimming (mountain lake from June - September), cycling
Lunch 14.00 - 15.00hrs
Practice/Class from 16.00-18.00hrs
Supper
Our retreat is vegetarian food based with dietary requests accommodated where possible. We tend to work with seasonal products, predominantly from the surrounding area
